Introducing Justin Savant 2018, a meticulously crafted blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, produced with the utmost care in Paso Robles. This wine is a testament to the traditional Bordeaux-style winemaking techniques, ensuring the highest quality and unparalleled taste.

Upon pouring, the wine presents a bright, deep purple color with a ruby core and a lighter rim. The thick, moderately stained tears slowly form, indicating the wine’s richness and complexity. The aroma is intense and captivating, with notes of black cherry, berry, and blackcurrant, complemented by hints of smoke, cracked pepper, vanilla, oak, leather, and sweet tobacco. On the palate, Justin Savant 2018 is full-bodied and textured, with ripe black and red fruit flavors that are perfectly balanced with baking spice and oak. The savory leather, black pepper, and smoky autumn leaves join on the mid-palate, leading the way into a long, balanced finish with sustained cherry and berry fruit, cured meat, and subtle camphor notes.

This bold wine is a perfect pairing for full-flavored foods, thanks to its full textures and balanced palate.

About Justin Savant 2018:

This blend is made in Paso Robles with the same care as the highest quality, traditionally crafted Bordeaux-style wines. Blend of Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot..

Tasting Notes:

Bright, deep purple, ruby core with a lighter rim and slow forming, thick, moderately stained tears. It is very aromatic with black fruit of cherry, berry and blackcurrant, smoke, cracked pepper, vanilla, oak, leather and sweet tobacco. Full bodied and textured, with ripe black mixed with red fruit on entry with baking spice and oak. Savory leather, black pepper and smoky autumn leaves join on the mid-palate with full, grippy tannins that lead the way into a long, balanced finish with sustained cherry and berry fruit, cured meat and subtle camphor notes. This is a bold wine that combines ripe fruit with full textures and balances nicely on the palate making it a great pairing for full flavored foods

Growing Notes:

Rich in fossilized limestone from eons of marine deposits, JUSTIN’s soil is ideally suited to creating big, Bordeaux-style reds. The limestone “stresses” the vines, producing grapes that fully express their varietal character.

Paso Robles’ distinctive microclimate offers the widest day-night temperature swings of any grape-growing region in California. The hot days allow the grapes to develop intense flavor, while the cool nights create great structure and balance.

Winemaking Notes:

The grapes are hand-picked and sorted by-the-berry for consistent quality and flavor.

About The Winery:

Justin Winery and Vineyards LLC planted their first vineyard back in 1981 with a mission to make world-class Bordeaux-style blends. Since then, they’ve expanded both their knowledge of viticulture in this unique region as well as the acreage.

JUSTIN Vineyards & Winery is more than a beautiful place to drink exceptional wine. It’s a unique viticultural microclimate. It’s a MICHELIN-starred restaurant. It’s world-class accommodations. It’s tasting rooms at the vineyard and in downtown Paso Robles, and more.
